As it is the central location of many of our state chartered and national association bank clients, Ohio has always been a natural fit for Simon PLC and our core practice groups. Some of our lawyers have called Ohio their home, and do regularly travel back and forth between our Ohio and Michigan offices. Our loan documentation and transactional attorneys draft loans, resolve loan workouts and defaults, write forbearance agreements, and assist creditors with restructuring. We have also worked substantially on default servicing functions involving the resolution of farm credit loans, real estate, property, lease, eviction and REO matters across the entire state. We also regularly handle consumer and commercial litigation, employment matters, shareholder disputes, and the management of creditor side bankruptcies. With clients local to the both sides of the Ohio and Michigan borders our Litigation team also routinely and efficiently handles cross border matters for banks, credit unions and companies.
